The structure of European electric hoists mainly consists of motors, transmission mechanisms, drums or sprockets, which can be divided into four types based on the relative positions of the motors, drums or sprockets:

(3) The electric hoist with the motor installed inside the drum or sprocket adopts a planetary gear transmission device, which has a simple structure and small length, but poor heat dissipation conditions and inconvenient maintenance.
(4) The electric hoist with the motor installed outside the drum or sprocket adopts a cylindrical gear transmission device, which has a reasonable structure, high universality, and convenient maintenance.
